You know what’s weird? The amount of times characters say the word “weird” in Avengers Age of Ultron. I’m pretty sure everyone gets to say it. Even Ultron. That was weird. Probably one of those Whedonesque things I keep hearing about. Anyway, Avengers: Age of Ultron came out here in the UK today and so I have done my duty unto you and have gone and done seen it. So, some spoilers may be ahead, but nothing too big. I’ll warn you if I’m about to spill something huge. Click the link below and I’ll tell you about how Thor become Lady Thor in the new Avengers film!

Blah blah blah sportsball. Blah blah blah summer movies. Blah blah blah Captain America. Click the link below.
So Marvel thought it would be hilarious to release Thor The Dark World right in the middle of my Horror Week. Good going Marvel! Why not screw everything up for me as much as you can? Like that time you released The Avengers just as I was about to do my traditional joke review for The Film Dump’s 1st birthday. I’m sure they’ll find a way to screw up the Godzilla season I’m planning. Jerks. Yup, Marvel have it in for me, clearly. So, Thor The Dark World is out in the UK and I just got back from seeing it. So here’s my review… right in the middle of Horror Week. Click the link.
Don’t do many trailer posts these days but I’m a comic book geek and so I feel compelled to post this one. The Thor 2 trailer hasn’t done a massive amount for me, although I will see it next week, but this trailer is awesome. They clearly understand that Captain America isn’t about supporting the interests of the American Government, regardless of what they are, but more about upholding the core tenants the U.S. was founded on. Some of the best storylines in the comics is when he’s going against his own employers to show what he believes is the true American way of life. This sequel seems to be tapping right into that and it looks like it’ll be doing a better job at showing the conflict between what SHIELD stand for and what they actually do better than the Agents of Shield series is. Anyway, click the link for the trailer and chuck some words in the comments below!
Well isn’t that odd, I’m reviewing two films with the same name one after the other. I hope no-one got confused or thinks I did that on purpose. Just so you know, this review right here is for Marvel’s The Avengers, or Avengers Assemble as they’re calling it here in the UK. Apparently they actually think their core audience is aware of the 60s TV series that my last film review was based on. So I guess if you’ve found your way to this review via a search you’re probably already aware of just how good this film has turned out. Which I guess makes me reviewing it pointless then. Oh well. Bye!
Fine I’ll review it!

Seeing as it is The Film Dump’s first ever birthday today I thought I’d put together two fun little top fives. The first will be a top 5 of my favourite films that I have watched over the last year. The other will be the absolute worst films I have watched over this last year. I’ll be honest, thanks to my love of a good ran I’ve probably seen more bad films over this last year than I normally would have. Obviously it’s all in the pursuit of providing some form of entertainment for anyone that happens to stumble across this blog whilst searching for pictures of Chris Evans with his shirt off. So, click the link for the best & worst of The Film Dump’s first year!
